Hello Traveler! My name is Elsie, and on Mondays at 5 I will be your DJ here on WMWC.
This is Tunes from the Tavern, my Bardcore/ Fantasy/ Renaissance Faire inspired radio show I like to do in the spring term.
I’m so excited to share my music with you, I have some great shows planned including Sea Shanties, Irish Drinking Music, and a Dive into Medieval Revival, so come visit me and we can go on this journey together.
Today, I will be playing some of my favorite songs, so you can get a taste of the kind of music I’ll be showing you on this station.
Up first we have
- Heather Dale “Come and Be Welcome”
- Hildegard Von Blingin “Paint it Black”
A little more on the folky side, Here’s
- The Oh Hellos “Constellations”
- Amelia Day “Eastward of Eden”
A bit of a Genre switch to more upbeat songs, here’s
- Sirena “Dare ye cry mercy”
- The High Kings “Maries Wedding”
I’m a big musical theatre kid, so I have to include these
- Camelot “Lusty month of may”
- The Witcher “Her Sweet Kiss”
- Song of the sea “Amhrán na Farraige”
Two of My favorite Artists
- Heather Dale “Joan”
- Willowbrook “Fine Wine”
Finishing off with some stranger tunes
- Cosmo Sheldrake “interdimensional”
- Small Fools “Melt in the sun”
- Amazing Devil “Battle Cries”
Well traveler, It’s time to go on your way. Thank you for joining me at WMWC and I’ll see you next week for some Folky Tunes.
